At age 17, Maggie slipped some headphones into her ears and pressed play on a guided meditation. This was her first-ever crack at the mindfulness art, and during the first few minutes of rhythmic breathing and listening to the soothing affirmations, she honestly didn’t feel anything significant whatsoever. It wasn’t until nearly the end of the 15-minute audio track that she got the distinct feeling that she was on a gently rocking ship. Her sense of self began to gently slip away from her.

And just like that, the depression, anxiety, and negative spiral that she had been stuck in for what seemed like years loosed its grip on her mind and body. When the meditation dwindled to a halt, she couldn’t push “repeat” fast enough.

She was absolutely hooked on that feeling of letting go of her internal baggage and going deeply within, discovering a constantly waiting space of profound connection. For the next year, her life revolved around meditation, yoga, and other focusing practices. The best part of her day was when she ventured out to her favorite spot by the lake she lived on and practiced these inward arts.

Slowly, the glow she experienced from these practices started to bleed into her daily existence, and her life brightened bit by bit, eventually leading her to the deep desire to help others to awaken in this meaningful way as well. If she could turn her own depression into a glittering zest for life, then she knew others could too.

After getting certified at a 200hr YTT in St. Augustine, Florida, she began instructing yoga full-time, finding that she had a genuinely special gift to give to this world. In 2016 she founded a studio called “Flow Space”, which fuses creative, intelligent, heartfelt yoga sequencing with live music and unique sensory experiences. The business took her and her brilliant team to a plethora of large festivals, events, and award nominations.

After nearly 4000 hours of facilitation experience, she’s thrilled to be taking her passion to the next level, floating amidst the Cyclades, fully immersed in yoga, music, and mindfulness with you.

destinations

Rugged, sun-drenched outcrops of rock, anchored in azure seas and liberally peppered with snow-white villages and blue-domed churches – this is Greece, straight from central casting, with stellar archaeological sites and dozens of postcard-worthy beaches.

Throw in a blossoming food scene, some renowned party destinations, and a good dose of sophistication, and you have the best of Greece’s ample charms.

Among our 223 tiny islands, the most popular are Mykonos & Santorini. But, this journey will take you far from the heralds of tourism and into the untouristed corners of Greece. Kythnos, Sifnos, Serifos & Kea, the gems of the western Cyclades will take your breath away.
